east Hamburg
★★★★☆Simon-von-Utrecht-Straße 31, 20359 Hamburg, Deutschland
The east design hotel opened in 2004 at a historic location. Before 1850, the site was built on with a factory building with foundry furnaces. In 1888 the “St. Pauli Eisenwerke R. Lohse & Co.” were built on the remains of the ruin. With the help of investors and the founding of a company, the hotel project with restaurants and conference rooms was completed in just 36 months of construction and opened on October 28, 2004. The American designer Jordan Mozer from Chicago was in charge of the architectural design.
Converted historic iron foundry with signature design by Jordan Mozer · Large on-site F&B (restaurant + multiple lounges + cocktail bar) · Extensive meeting and event infrastructure with combinable rooms
